Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Sushi Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, sushi making, and food safety standards. This role involves preparing high-quality sushi dishes, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and delivering exceptional food service to our guests. Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble sushi dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Handle food preparation tasks including slicing fish, cooking rice, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food handling practices meet safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of the sushi station and overall kitchen area throughout shifts
- Assist with other food service duties as needed,



including serving customers when required
- Follow all food safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure quality control
- Support team members in meal preparation during busy service hours
- Manage inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of supply needs

Experience

- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service is preferred
- Knowledge of sushi making techniques and Japanese cuisine is highly desirable
- Experience with food handling, safety procedures, and kitchen equipment operation is essential
- Background in the food industry or related culinary fields will be advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and excellent communication abilities are necessary for success in this role
