Responsibilities

- Provide skilled hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling tailored to each client's preferences.
- Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering expert advice on hair care and styling options.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work station in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments efficiently.




- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products through ongoing education and training.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within a salon setting.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to upsell retail products and promote salon services confidently.
- Basic retail sales experience is preferred.
- Front desk experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided if necessary.
- A valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations.
