Are you a motivated 443A Millwright Apprentice looking to continue building your career with a stable and growing manufacturing company? Our client is seeking a safety-focused and mechanically inclined apprentice who is eager to gain hands-on experience maintaining industrial equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

What You'll Do
As a Millwright Apprentice, you will support the maintenance team by performing preventative and corrective maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment while ensuring a safe and efficient operation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and industrial machinery.
- Assist with diagnosing equipment failures and identifying opportunities to improve equipment performance.
- Perform emergency and scheduled maintenance as required.
- Read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
- Work with PLC-controlled machinery and automated production equipment.
- Complete work orders accurately and maintain detailed maintenance records.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and internal maintenance procedures.
- Maintain compliance with all Health & Safety policies, environmental regulations, and company procedures.
- Participate in equipment lockout/tagout procedures, hazard identification,
and emergency response activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and protected work environment.
What We're Looking For
- Currently registered as a 443A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Apprentice.
- Completed approximately 1-3 years of apprenticeship hours.
- In-class apprenticeship training completed to date is considered a strong asset.
- Registered with Skilled Trades Ontario.
- Previous experience maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical systems; exposure to PLC-controlled equipment is an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical drawings.
- Comfortable working rotating day and night shifts (8-12 hour shifts).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or other maintenance software is an asset.
- Committed to maintaining a safe workplace and following all health and safety procedures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
