Employment type: Full-time

About the role
We're seeking a Regional Practice Coach to elevate performance across our clinics. This role is for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, understands the operational realities of eye-care practices (retail, lab/dispensing, and clinical care together), and can coach managers toward consistent execution — so every location runs the same excellent way, regardless of which manager is on shift.
Key responsibilities
● Drive consistent, high-quality patient experiences across a multi-unit environment spanning retail operations, dispensing/lab services, and clinical care.
● Coach and develop clinic managers through structured onboarding, on-the-job training, and regular in-clinic visits — delivering timely, engaging, and constructive feedback that supports growth and accountability.
● Review and analyze practice-level financial performance against payroll and KPI benchmarks, identifying opportunities to optimize profitability and support sustainable growth.
● Standardize SOPs and ensure consistent execution of marketing campaigns and consumer-facing communications across locations, in line with Family Eye Care Group's brand vision.
● Support practices through organizational change by facilitating goal setting, strategic planning, and problem-solving, and providing tools and structure during transitions.
● Flag systemic issues (staffing, scheduling, equipment) to head office rather than patching them locally.
● Drive strategic regional growth through targeted initiatives, operational alignment, and cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications & experience
● 3+ years in multi-site retail, healthcare, or optical management, with real coaching/training experience
● Comfortable with regular regional travel
● Can read a KPI dashboard and turn it into a coaching conversation, not just a report
● Optical or optometry industry experience is a plus, not required Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
● Strong influencing, negotiation, and decision-making skills with sound judgment
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office equipment
Why join us
● Opportunity to shape the success of multiple clinics across a growing regional group
● Supportive leadership team and growth-focused environment
● Competitive compensation and benefits
