Our Pickup and Drop-off Drivers act as the face of our business, managing the transportation of employees between employee location and client facilities. This role combines driving, logistics, and customer service, and requires professionalism at all times.
What You Will Be Doing:
· Employee Pickup and Drop-off: Pick-up and drop-off employees from pick-up point or employee homes and client facilities as scheduled, to ensure timely drop-off and pick-up as required.
· Route Management: Follow assigned routes safely and efficiently; adjust for traffic or weather as needed.
· Customer Interaction: Greet employees, answer basic questions, and handle concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.
· Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on your vehicle; keep your vehicle clean and in good working order.
· Communication: Coordinate with our office and on-site coordinator daily to ensure smooth operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Customer Service Skills:
Valuable command of the English language is required. A friendly demeanor, positive attitude and clear communication are key.
· Time Management: Ability to stick to schedules and manage multiple stops efficiently and safely.
· Attention to Detail: Ensure employees are picked up and dropped off safely as per schedule, and on time.
· Independence: Comfortable working alone, navigating different neighborhoods throughout Calgary, including the downtown core of our city.
· Valid Class 5 Driver’s License: A current drivers abstract in required.
· You are comfortable driving and frequently parking in Calgary
· Must have minimum two (2) years local driving experience
· Must provide two recent driving references
· Be willing to provide criminal background check
· You are comfortable driving a full-size cargo van, if required
· Environment: Driving in various weather conditions
