Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing work surfaces and utensils
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of food products
- Support the team during busy service hours by ensuring timely meal preparation
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless workflow and excellent customer service
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred; restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and culinary best practices
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings if required
