Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Arborist to join our team. Work with an ISA Board Certified Master Arborists to progress your career. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care, with the skills necessary to ensure the health and safety of trees in various environments. This role involves working both independently and as part of a team to perform essential arboricultural tasks, utilizing specialized equipment and techniques.

Responsibilities

- Assess the health and condition of trees, providing recommendations for care and maintenance.
- Perform tree pruning, trimming, and removal using appropriate techniques to promote growth and safety.
- Operate bucket trucks and rigging equipment safely and efficiently during tree care operations.
- Collaborate with clients to develop customized tree care plans that meet their specific needs.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.

Requirements

- Proven experience as an Arborist or in a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of tree biology, pests, diseases, and treatment methods.




- Proficiency in operating bucket trucks and rigging equipment safely.
- Solid physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- A valid driver’s license is required; DZ license is required for the Arborist role, additional certifications related to arboriculture are advantageous.
- Ontario Pesticide exterminator an asset
- 0-8 ton crane certification an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
