CAD Mechanical Designer
Location: Barrie, ON
Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 per year
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated CAD Mechanical Designer to join our client in Barrie, ON. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SolidWorks and have experience with pipe and tank design. This is a rapid-paced environment with multiple ongoing projects, requiring excellent organization and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. This is a temp to permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and modify mechanical designs using SolidWorks.
- Assist in the design of pipes, tanks, and related mechanical components.
- Coordinate closely with the Project Manager and Sales Team to ensure project requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate documentation and drawings in compliance with company standards.
- Adapt to a busy work environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Contribute positively to team discussions,
learning from feedback and collaborating effectively.
Qualifications:
- Minimum three years experience in a similar role.
- Experience in pipe and tank design is preferred.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks is required.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to learn, open to feedback, and a good listener.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
