Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring guests have a memorable experience. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, managing POS transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, along with solid time management and multitasking skills. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in food safety standards, cash handling, and food industry best practices to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to standard recipes.
- Use POS systems such as Micros POS to process orders efficiently and accurately.
- Manage cash transactions, handle cash handling procedures, and balance register at shift end.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
- Serve food when applicable, assisting with food handling duties as needed.




- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety.
- Assist in opening or closing duties as assigned, including restocking supplies and cleaning.

Requirements

- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred; hospitality background is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service protocols.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in a fast-paced setting.
