Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Hand / Dishwasher to join our team for morning hours only. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring a smooth operation for food preparation and service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace. Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service settings is a plus but not required, as training will be provided. Duties

- Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment according to health and safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping and plating support
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, counters, and storage spaces
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste and recyclables
- Support kitchen staff during busy periods by organizing supplies and assisting with light food prep




- Follow hygiene protocols to prevent contamination and ensure food safety compliance
- Help with restocking supplies and organizing storage areas for efficiency
- Adhere to all health regulations and safety procedures at all times

Experience

- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is advantageous but not mandatory
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures within commercial kitchens or hospitality settings is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food handling and safety standards is beneficial
- Experience with food preparation or cooking tasks can be an asset but is not essential
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under supervision or independently when required
