Our local state-of-the-art packing facility in Newcastle, Ontario is currently looking to hire an Industrial Sanitation Supervisor. This is a permanent hands-on management role that reports to our FSQA Manager. Hours of work are Sunday (5pm until 1:30am) and Monday to Thursday (9:30pm until 6:30am), some overtime is required on Fridays.

What you will do:
- Oversee and manage the sanitation program for the facility
- Develop and implement sanitation protocols and procedures
- Maintain the master sanitation schedule
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety and food safety regulations at all times
- Train, supervise and lead a team of sanitation workers
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness standards
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule cleaning activities
- Monitor inventory and complete the ordering of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Investigate and resolve any sanitation-related issues or complaints

What you will bring to the role:
- 2 years of previous experience in commercial cleaning or sanitation management
- A strong knowledge of sanitation practices and procedures
- A familiarity with health and safety and food safety regulations




- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- An ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

An additional $1.00/hour overnight shift premium applies to this position.
