Duties

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring correct entry and timely processing
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and safety
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and providing change or receipts as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including food handling and kitchen safety protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and guest satisfaction




- Manage guest inquiries or complaints promptly with professionalism to foster positive relationships
- Assist in food preparation tasks when necessary, supporting overall restaurant operations
- Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff

Experience

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Auphan POS or similar platforms is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Experience in serving, upselling, cash handling, and cashiering enhances your effectiveness in this role
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for transactions is essential
- Background in the food industry or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor to create welcoming guest interactions
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
