Job Overview
Progressive Payroll/HR organization requires a junior Human Resources Coordinator to work a 7 month contract (till March 2027). This role will support and coordinate a wide range of human resources and payroll functions. You'll serve as a key point of contact for employee relations for onboarding and answer a variety of human resource related questions.

Responsibilities

- Act as first point of contact for employees to respond to questions in regards to payroll, onboarding and other HR questions.
- Manage and maintain HRIS systemsto ensure accurate data collection and reporting
- Assist in employee onboarding processes, including data entry, training & development coordination.
- Respond and direct payroll questions to "experts" when needed.
- Collect employee data for payroll.
- Maintain compliance with HR policies by monitoring adherence to employment laws and internal standards.

Qualifications:

- Diploma and or Certification in Human Resources
- 1+ year experience in HR or payroll department.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms.




- Top notch customer service skills, combined with excellent English communication skills to respond to a variety of HR and Payroll inquiries.
- Knowledge of payroll systems like ADP or Kronos to support payroll processing functions an asset.
- Robust project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments and with external partners
- Prior experience in employee relations, talent acquisition, or human resources sourcing is highly desirable
- Ability to perform data entry accurately while managing sensitive information securely
