About the Role

Uncle Wiener’s Wholesale is looking for a reliable and organized Logistics Coordinator to help manage outbound freight, internal shipments, container priorities, and warehouse load planning.

This role is responsible for making sure loads leave on time, presold items are properly audited, trailers are arriving as scheduled, and freight issues are tracked and resolved quickly. The right person will be detail-oriented, strong at follow-up, and able to work with warehouse, inventory, online, transportation, and store teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Track outbound loads leaving the warehouse and ensure they are moving on schedule.
- Audit presold items before shipping to make sure orders are complete and accurate.
- Follow up on loads that are delayed, incomplete, or missing required information.
- Help fix issues when trailers do not arrive as planned.
- Prioritize containers from rail to unloading based on urgency, overstorage risk, and business needs.
- Organize LTL shipments and other outside freight.
- Coordinate internal freight between stores, warehouse, auction, and other company locations.
- Report freight delays, trailer issues, missing products, presold problems, and other shipping concerns.
- Track logistics performance and provide updates to management.
- Work with the inventory team to resolve stock, location, and product availability issues.
- Assist the online / auction team with shipment planning and freight coordination.
- Communicate clearly with warehouse staff, drivers, managers, and outside freight companies.




- Help improve systems, follow-up processes, and accountability around freight movement.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow up consistently and not let issues fall through the cracks.
- Good communication skills by phone, email, and internal messaging.
- Ability to prioritize urgent loads, containers, and freight problems.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment.
- Basic computer skills, including spreadsheets, email, and tracking systems.
- Experience in logistics, dispatch, warehouse coordination, freight, inventory, or transportation is an asset.
- Must be dependable, proactive, and willing to take ownership of problems until they are solved.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who can stay calm under pressure, keep multiple shipments organized at once, and make sure the right people are updated when problems happen. This person must be comfortable holding others accountable, following up with freight companies, and making sure loads are completed properly and on time.
