Position Overview

This position requires someone to have strong organizational skills and a solid knowledge of construction with the ability to repair all aspects of a home. Customer service skills and communication skills are essential. Company vehicle provided.

Role & Responsibilities

- Meet with homeowners at scheduled appointments for possession & warranty.
- Fix and eliminate deficiency items before the final inspection and possession of the homes;
- Assess construction deficiencies on 60 days and 1 year walk through and perform repairs in a timely manner;
- Educate homeowners about homeowner maintenance;
- Complete repairs such as drywall & taping fix, paint touch ups, interior finishing items, door adjustments, baseboard install, tile replacement, grout fill, silicone application, fix floor squeak, etc.;
- Manage trade day with home owner and if other trades needed;




- Obtaining homeowners signature on completed items;
- Emergency/On Call duties to address situations such as of loss of power/heat or water leaks;

Requirements

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Warranty Technician in new home construction or Handyman with a service related background;
- A comprehensive understanding of construction fundamentals and the construction process;
- Knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency in multiple trade functions such as carpentry, drywall, painting etc.;
- Strong customers service background;
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow;
- Self-motivated with ability to work well independently and as a team;
- Valid driver's license;

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
