Duties

- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities across multiple commercial sites, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards
- Assign duties to custodial staff, monitor performance, and provide ongoing training to promote best practices in cleaning procedures
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas to verify cleanliness, safety compliance, and adherence to company policies
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and proper maintenance
- Develop work schedules that optimize staffing levels while accommodating client needs and operational demands
- Address any issues or complaints promptly, resolving problems to maintain customer satisfaction and team morale




- Promote a culture of safety by enforcing health protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment

Experience

- Proven custodial experience with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning standards and procedures
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience in a cleaning or facilities maintenance environment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to chemical handling, equipment use, and workplace hygiene practices
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple sites and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills to motivate staff, coordinate with clients, and report on operational performance

Education

- Completed Bachelors Degree relevant to the industry
- Completed First Aid and CPR
- Completed WHMIS and OHS
