Overview
Our upcoming Sherwood Park location is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Ideal candidates will possess a passion for the food industry and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly while providing menus
- Take food and beverage orders accurately with pen and paper and making sure requests and/or allergens are noted.
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
- Stocking sauces and any items used in the dining area.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, floors, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Loading and unloading dirty dish carts.
- Maintain cleanliness of the washrooms through daily checks and nightly full-clean.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction with their dining experience.
- Keeping busy including helping the kitchen if the front is not too busy
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Proficient in food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices within a kitchen setting is essential.
