NAPA Auto Parts Bridgewater is seeking a Full-Time Automotive Parts Specialist to work Tuesday to Saturday Schedule (36 Hours per Week) (Tues-Friday 8-5) (Saturday 8-12)

Under the supervision of the Assistant Manager you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining valuable relations with our customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional service.

You will support overall store operations in order to meet NAPA’s exacting customer service and operational standards by preparing customer orders and processing returns.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

- Handle orders and requests for parts or parts information efficiently.
- Specify and identify parts needed to meet customer requirements, using online and book catalogues.
- Use parts information resources to identify parts required accurately.
- Effectively communicate features, benefits and warranty policy information to customers.
- Create purchase orders for requisitions on non-stocking or special-order parts.
- Follow-up on special order items and notify the customer when received.
- Located out-of-stock parts from other sources.




- Recommend substitute and complementary products to what the customer is asking.
- Maintaining inventory on display, on shelves and in bins.
- Reporting any discrepancies in stock levels.

Preferred Education and Qualifications:

- Automotive aftermarket and parts supply background and/or knowledge an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Communication skills
- Priority management
- Computer-literate with the ability to learn and become proficient in any software program
- Action oriented
- Listening skills
- Teamwork and excellent customer service skills
- High school diploma
- Strong math and reading comprehension skills.
- Warehouse experience and material handling equipment experience.
- Work Tuesday to Saturday
