Program Coordinator - Support Worker Central (Contract/Full-Time)

Schedule: Day Shift | Monday-Friday

Job Summary

Vela Canada is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the delivery of Support Worker Central programming and resources. This role coordinates day-to-day program operations, supports outreach and stakeholder engagement, maintains accurate documentation, and contributes to reporting and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily program operations and ensure tasks and deliverables stay on track

- Respond to inquiries from participants, partners, and stakeholders in a qualified and timely manner

- Plan and support workshops/webinars (scheduling, communications, attendance tracking, logistics)

- Assist with content updates for program resources, tools, and communications

- Track service metrics, outcomes, and basic program data for reporting

- Maintain organized program records, templates, and documentation

- Liaise with partners, service providers, and internal teams to support collaboration





- Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and implementing updates

Qualifications / Requirements

- Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Confidence using digital tools (email, spreadsheets, virtual meeting platforms, basic file management)

- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-driven environment

- Experience in non-profit program coordination, community services, employment supports, or related work is an asset
