Account Manager, Personal Lines (IN OFFICE POSITION)

We are currently seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join a well-established and growing brokerage team in Calgary. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated insurance professional who thrives in a client-focused environment and enjoys managing and growing a book of business.
The Opportunity
As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you will be responsible for servicing an existing portfolio of clients while identifying opportunities for cross-selling and new business development. You will provide expert advice, ensure appropriate coverage solutions, and deliver exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients (both verbally and electronically) to assess needs and provide tailored coverage recommendations
- Manage and service an existing book of personal lines business
- Handle renewals, remarketing, policy changes, and coverage reviews
- Cross-sell and identify new business opportunities
- Provide support to VIP clients
- Respond to client and insurer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in the brokerage management system
- Deliver consistent, high-level customer service
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Level 2 Insurance License (Alberta)
- Minimum 2 years of Personal Lines experience
- Experience with Auto, Home, Boat, Recreational, and Umbrella policies
- Strong understanding of coverage placement and remarketing
Assets
- RIBO license (or willingness to obtain)
- CAIB, CIP, FCIP, or CRM designation
Skills & Competencies
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities independently
- Strong business acumen and professional presence
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Applied Epic
- Strong attendance record and reliability
