Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Stucco Labourer to join our busy construction crew. In this role, you will support our plasterers and applicators by preparing job sites, mixing mortar and stucco, and keeping the work area safe and clean. No formal degree is needed, but a strong work ethic and physical stamina are required.

A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation are mandatory for this role. You must be able to travel independently between changing job sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Mix Materials: Accurately mix cement, plaster, or stucco ingredients to the correct consistency using hand tools or mechanical mixers.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and carry heavy buckets, bags of cement, and tools around the job site.
- Site Preparation: Protect windows, doors, and surrounding areas with plastic or tape, and help set up scaffolding and ladders.
- Assist Tradespersons: Hand tools to plasterers, help apply base coats,



or assist with minor scraping and patching work as directed.
- Clean-Up: Remove rubble, waste material, and debris from the work site at the end of each day.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform heavy lifting, climb scaffolding, bend, and stand for long hours in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and ready to show up on time.
- Safety Mindset: Willingness to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) like hard hats, safety glasses, and boots.
- Transportation: Reliable way to get to changing job sites on time.
- Experience in construction or with stucco is a plus, but we are willing to train the right entry-level candidate.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
