Job Summary

Duties

- Assist with site setup, including unloading materials, preparing work areas, and organizing tools and equipment
- Support carpenters, masons, electricians, plumbers, and other tradespeople by handling materials and performing basic tasks
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely under supervision to aid in construction activities such as framing, drywall installation, or concrete finishing
- Help with concrete forming, pouring, and finishing to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project requirements
- Perform demolition or restoration work as needed to prepare sites for new construction or renovation projects
- Support heavy equipment operation when trained and certified, including loaders or compactors
- Assist with flooring installation, tile laying,



cabinet installation, or painting tasks to meet project deadlines
- Follow safety protocols diligently by wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and maintaining a clean work environment

Skills

- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings for accurate task execution
- Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws) for various construction activities
- Prior construction experience is highly preferred; familiarity with concrete forming, masonry, carpentry, electrical systems or plumbing is a plus
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes helps in understanding project scope and resource needs
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when certified; experience with restoration or concrete finishing is advantageous
- Skilled in caulking techniques for sealing joints; capable of supporting electrical or plumbing installations as needed
- Experience with flooring installation or tile laying enhances versatility on diverse projects
- Welding skills or experience with electrical systems can set candidates apart in specialized tasks
