Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to coordinate container transportation and logistics operations within our supply chain. The ideal candidate will manage freight movements, communicate effectively with drivers and clients, and utilize various transportation management systems to ensure timely and efficient delivery services. This role is vital for maintaining smooth operations across shipping, receiving, and overall supply chain functions.

Duties

- Coordinate and schedule freight shipments using Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery, adjusting schedules as needed.
- Communicate with drivers, carriers, clients, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems, maintaining professional phone etiquette.
- Manage shipping & receiving documentation, ensuring accuracy in data entry related to freight movements.
- Analyze shipping data to identify delays or inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Oversee freight logistics within the supply chain, including third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Maintain organized records of shipments,



deliveries, and related correspondence.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams on shipping & receiving schedules and inventory updates.
- Utilize analysis skills to optimize routing and freight allocation for cost efficiency.

Requirements

- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, freight management, and shipping & receiving procedures.
- Excellent data entry skills with high typing accuracy and proficiency in multi-line phone systems.
- Effective communication skills with professional phone etiquette.
- Familiarity with 3PL operations and freight management practices preferred.
- Solid organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $18.36-$26.88 per hour
