Description

We are looking for a talented colleague who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service to join our team as a cashier! As a cashier you will be an ambassador for our store providing directions and assistance with your knowledge of store services, policies, and products. You will also help customers complete their purchases and ensure the accurate entry of those transactions in our system.

Responsibilities

- Welcome customers and provide help as needed.
- Complete customer transactions at the cash desk by scanning items and processing payment through the POS (Point of Sale) system.
- Process credits and refunds, as approved by sales staff.
- Ensure the cash desk is tidy and well stocked with supplies.
- Follow safety guidelines, including COVID-19 protocols.
- Maintain and ensure all price reference books are available at the cash desk.




- Verify the cash float for balancing and that all transactions correspond with the POS summary.
- Knowledge of store products, services, and policies.
- Ensure sale events and special pricing are accurately reflected in customer transactions.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Highschool or equivalent

Notes

Wage Range: Pay: $15.70-$18.00 per hour

Work days:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
