Position Overview

We are hiring hardworking labourers to join our snow removal team for the upcoming winter season. This is a key role requiring reliable and strong workers who can work in harsh winter conditions to maintain clear, accessible residential properties.

This job involves being ready to work for every snow event, including overnight and on short notice. In return, we offer top pay, bonuses for strong commitment and a chance to work with a reliable, professional crew with a potential to transition to the spring season.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Utilize snow shovels & snow blowers to clear walkways, sidewalks, steps, garage fronts & to assist with clearing larger areas as needed.

✔ Applying salt to the stated areas.
✔ Complete assigned routes efficiently, thoroughly, and within set timeframes
✔ Continuously monitor changing weather and road conditions, adjusting operations as needed
✔ Perform pre-shift inspections and basic maintenance on all equipment to ensure readiness
✔ Report any equipment issues or breakdowns immediately to minimize downtime
✔ Represent MJ Landscapers professionally while on-site, respect for client property and attention to detail is a must

Candidates must meet the following requirements:
✔ Valid G2-Class Driver’s License (required), and own vehicle
✔ Physically capable of working long hours, including overnight and in harsh winter conditions
✔ Widespread availability for snow events
✔ Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions
✔ Professional, team-oriented attitude with respect for co-workers and clients

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Pay: $25.00
