POSITION DETAILS

Key Responsibilities

- Provide assistance and support to individuals in need of personal care
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals (if applicable)
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals
- Help individuals with mobility and transfers
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals

Qualifications

- Personal Support Worker certification is an asset




- Experience in providing care and support to individuals in a variety of settings, such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and or home care is an asset
- Knowledge of dementia care and experience working with individuals with dementia is an asset
- Strong patient care skills, including the ability to assess needs, provide assistance, and monitor well-being
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and empathetic nature, with the ability to build rapport with individuals in need of care
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from fellow healthcare professionals

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $20.50-$21.50 per hour
