Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
- Assist with food presentation and plating to ensure visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage
- Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures
- Serve customers efficiently, taking orders accurately and delivering meals promptly
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients or supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Experience
- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is advantageous
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation is beneficial
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
- Robust communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential
Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
