Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Plumber/Gasfitter to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and gas systems across various commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience reading schematics, and proficiency with hand tools. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision, technical expertise, and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with blueprints and schematics
- Work with gas lines, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Utilize MIG welding, repair piping components
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute project plans accurately
- Perform rigging tasks for lifting and positioning heavy equipment or piping components
- Use hand tools such as calipers, wrenches, pipe cutters, and other mechanical tools for precise work
- Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing and gas systems to ensure optimal operation
- Collaborate with team members on construction or manufacturing sites to complete projects efficiently




- Follow all safety protocols related to plumbing, gasfitting, welding, and construction activities

Experience

- Previous experience in plumbing or gasfitting within construction or manufacturing environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus but not required
- Proficiency with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical drawings is essential
- Skilled in MIG welding, TIG welding, welding techniques, and rigging operations
- Familiarity with hand tools, calipers, basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Experience working with maintenance tasks related to plumbing or gas systems
- Construction experience or background in manufacturing industries will be considered advantageous

This position requires a strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Candidates must demonstrate technical competence in plumbing and gasfitting tasks while adhering to all safety standards.

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
