Job Summary

Are you a skilled electronics enthusiast with a knack for precision troubleshooting? Repair.Dental is seeking an experienced PCB Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will diagnose, component-level troubleshoot, and repair complex electronic circuit boards for high-end dental equipment, including intraoral sensors, dental handpieces, 3D printers, and various other clinical devices.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnostic & Troubleshooting: Analyze and diagnose complex PCB issues down to the component level using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electronic testing equipment.
- Precision Repair: Repair or replace faulty surface-mount devices (SMDs), microcontrollers, integrated circuits (ICs), and connectors.
- Specialized Equipment Service: Troubleshoot and refurbish diverse dental technology including digital X-ray sensors, handpieces, and dental 3D printers.
- Schematic Reading: Read and interpret technical schematics, datasheets, and wiring diagrams to accurately execute repairs.
- Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous quality control and calibration checks post-repair to ensure all equipment safely meets strict industry standards.
- Documentation:



Maintain clean logs of repairs, diagnostics, and components used.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Technical Background: Proven experience in electronics repair, PCB troubleshooting, or micro-soldering.
- Core Knowledge: Strong understanding of electronic principles, circuit analysis, and digital/analog electronics.
- Tools Proficiency: High proficiency with precision soldering/desoldering stations, hot air rework stations, and diagnostic testing tools.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional hand-eye coordination and patience for working under microscopes with miniature components.
- Problem Solver: Excellent analytical skills to trace faults logically in complex or unfamiliar circuits.

Nice to Have

- IPC Certification (e.g., IPC-A-610 or IPC-7711/7721).
- Previous experience servicing biomedical or dental laboratory equipment.
- Degree or Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
