Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care
- Handle food preparation and food handling duties in accordance with safety standards
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity and attention to detail
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly,
taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including counters, equipment, and dining areas
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure all products meet health regulations and quality standards
Skills
- Previous barista experience is an asset but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Knowledge of POS systems for smooth transaction processing
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and measuring ingredients accurately
- Ability to multitask in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
