The Fantasia Academy of Music is looking for a piano instructor who will teach group beginner lessons to children starting in September 2026. The instructor should be friendly and able to engage with children in a fun, encouraging manner. Group classes would be twice a week, one hour each, likely in Cloverdale and Fleetwood, Surrey.

There is also the prospect to teach private, one-on-one lessons in addition to group classes.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 1 year teaching experience
- Patient and kind with students, including toddlers
- Can travel throughout Surrey
- Can reliably commit to a part-time teaching schedule from September 2026 to June 2027
- Responsible and punctual

Assets:

- Can teach multiple instruments (ideal but not required)
- Bilingual/multi-lingual - can teach in a language other than English
- Experience teaching adults as well as children

The teacher should have access to a car or another form of reliable transportation.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour

- Surrey, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
