Shift Schedule :

Full time, Monday to Friday: 0700-1500 / 1500-2300 / 2300-0700

Responsibilities for Hospital Security Guard in Dryden

- Respond to emergency situations including Code White (violent behavior), medical emergencies, and security threats until emergency services arrive
- Use de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques to manage aggressive or distressed patients and visitors
- Patrol hospital areas including emergency departments, restricted zones, and parking facilities




- Control access to sensitive areas and ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors
- Maintain a visible presence to deter incidents and protect healthcare workers
- Write clear and detailed daily reports and incident documentation
- Support patients in distress, including those experiencing trauma or mental health crises

Qualifications for Hospital Security Guard in Dryden

- ust be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Ability to pass Use of Force training
- Ability to complete or pass Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) training
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- First Aid/CPR certification is an asset
- Previous experience in security or healthcare is an asset
