Tatamagouche Home Hardware Building Centre is looking for a detailed oriented person to join our team! The Office Administrator will assist us with financial administration as well as day-to-day administrative support in our business.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Assist with maintaining accurate financial records in QuickBooks.
- Assist with the maintaining of other physical and electronic records.
- Provide customers with accurate account balance statements and assist with preparing monthly statements.
- Monitor the aging of accounts and submit a report on their status to the Dealer-Owner(s) and/or management.
- Assist with following-up on delinquent accounts by telephone.
- Assist with preparing inventory and sales reports for management, as needed.
- Assist with payroll processing and advantages administration, as needed.




- Answering telephones and helping on the sales floor when needed.
- Maintain records around the leasing of storage units.
- Other administrative or bookkeeping tasks, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Relevant administrative and/or bookkeeping experience.
- QuickBooks experience preferred, but not required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn other computer-based programs.
- Ability to work co-operatively in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, co-workers, and customers.
