Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This role involves preparing beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Prior experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred. Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of Matcha Lattes, teas, coffee and specialty beverages according to company standards
- Operate POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to ensure a positive experience
- Handle food safety and hygiene practices in accordance with health regulations
- Manage food preparation tasks such as assembling ingredients and maintaining product quality
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas throughout shifts
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently
- Process transactions accurately using basic math skills and cash handling procedures
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management

Skills





- Previous Barista experience or background in the food industry is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Proficiency with POS systems.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Experience in serving, food preparation, and food service operations is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
