Overview
St. Joachim Lodge Rest Home is hiring an Overnight Caregiver to provide hands-on resident support and facility maintenance during overnight and early morning hours. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to care and medication protocols, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive living environment.

Responsibilities

- Monitor and support residents from 6PM - 11PM, ensuring safety and well-being.
- Administer scheduled medications in accordance with established protocols.
- Perform detailed housekeeping and sanitation duties to maintain a clean, protected, and inspection-ready facility.
- Prepare the kitchen and serve snacks before bedtime.
- Complete resident and facility laundry as scheduled.
- Document observations, communicate with staff, and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Ensure entrances, exits, and common areas remain clean, secure, and accessible.

Skills

- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to stand and perform manual tasks for extended periods




- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors
- Prior experience within Healthcare / Caregiving / Housekeeping
- PSW or Nursing certification required.
- First Aid/CPR certification required.
- Food Handler certificate required.

Pay: $17.60 per hour

- Caregiving: 2 years (required)
