THE ROLE: SHEET METAL WORKER / INSTALLER

You’ll be supporting our roofing and architectural sheet metal operations across the Sea to Sky corridor or lower mainland BC. This role involves fabricating metal components such as flashings, panels, and trims, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and quality.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

- Fabricate custom architectural sheet metal products to spec
- Operate metal machinery and associated power tools
- Install various flashing and wall systems
- Ensuring high-quality workmanship, clean job sites, and safe practices
- Following our systems and contributing to a strong team culture
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
- Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal
- Cut materials using power tools or by hand
- Fit and join sheet metal parts
- Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes

COMPENSATION & PERKS

Starting Wages:
- $36.60 – $42 per hour

Hours: At least 30 hours per week

Metal worker → Foreman → Superintendent → Management

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

- Knowledge of a variety of metal wall, roofing systems, cladding and flashing installation
- Form and cut metal on site as per prints and drawings
- Use of metal machinery and associated power tools
- Install experience of various flashing and wall systems
- Be able to organize and complete site paperwork with accuracy
- Be able to operate the boom and scissor lift safety
- Participate in daily hazard assessments and weekly toolbox meetings
- Have a keen eye for detail and the ability to independently solve problems

REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:

- Architectural Sheet Metal experience: 3 years (required)
- Blueprint reading: 1 year (required)
- Roofing: 1 year (preferred)
- Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
- Education not required
- Functional in English — written & verbal

· Sheet Metal Worker apprenticeship or trade certification is an asset

- Valid driver’s license and personal transportation is an asset
- Able to complete paperwork and site documentation accurately
