Aveiro Bakery is a small, family oriented and BUSY bakery located in North Oakville (2530 Sixth Line). We produce and sell a wide variety of pastries/desserts, breads and other baked goods, deli meats and cheeses, sandwiches, and coffees.

We are currently looking for a dedicated and hard working individual who is willing to commit to our team as a Fry Cook. The Fry Cook will work closely with the Head Baker, mainly focused on frying dough to make donuts and other fried goods.

This is a permanent, full-time position. The candidate must be able to work 6 days a week, Tuesday through Sunday, starting at 5am every morning. We are closed on Mondays. The average shift length ranges between 6 and 8 hours.

Tasks:

- Frying donuts and other fried goods
- Decorating donuts
- Assisting the rest of the team where needed (ex. bread production, freezer pulls, preparation, etc.)
- Deep cleaning and dishwashing (occasional heavy lifting up to 50lb involved)

Qualifications:





- High school diploma or equivalent
- Kitchen/bakery experience required
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50lb and work a physically demanding job

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
