We are actively recruiting for a Personal Support Worker to assist a private female employer with Quadriplegia in all activities of daily living.

Start Date: Immediately

Location:

- Maple Ridge, BC (Near Valley Fair Mall)

Compensation:

- $25.00 an hour

Shifts:

- Sunday and Monday
- 9:00am to 1:30pm OR 2:00pm
- Possibility of more shifts in the future

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to)

- All aspects of personal care including toileting and bowel care
- One person transfers using an overhead lift
- Driving to appointments and occasional outings
- Meal preparation
- Household duties and cleaning

Requirements:

- Driver's License is preferred
- Qualified Caregiver or experience with personal care and quadriplegic care
- Must be comfortable working in an setting with animals
- RCA or related Certification preferred
- Must show a keen willingness to learn
- Must undergo a Criminal Record Check




- Must be physically fit and able to perform duties such as bending and lifting
- Comfort driving a wheelchair accessible van when needed

Pay: $25.00 per hour
