Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Red Seal Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fire truck maintenance and repair and possess strong mechanical knowledge. As a member of our Team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing emergency vehicles to ensure they are safe and operational.

Duties:

- Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks on various vehicle models and brands

- Perform pump testing and pump repairs

- Use hand tools and equipment to diagnose and repair vehicle issues

- Assemble, weld, and maintain vehicle components as needed

- Follow schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot problems

- Complete final inspections and pre-delivery inspections of new emergency vehicles

- Complete outfitting of new emergency vehicles to be placed into service

- Conduct heavy lifting tasks when necessary

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns professionally

Requirements:





- Prior experience in heavy truck repair or a related field

- Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment for vehicle maintenance

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required

- Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair vehicle issues effectively

- Familiarity with dealership operations is a plus

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

- truck technician: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver's License (required)
- Journeyman (required)
- Red Seal Mechanic's certification (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (required)
