Duties and Responsibilities:

-Reading and understanding of civil site plans

-Fitting, laying and repairing water main, sewer main and septic systems

-Working knowledge of water and wastewater

-Perform layout and collect as-built elevation data

-Emergency water and sewer repairs (Main and Service)

-Operation of compaction equipment

-

Qualifications/Experience:

-Working knowledge of water and wastewater

-Ability to perform layout and collect as-built elevation data

-3 years of excavation labouring experience is required

-Experience working with water and sewer is required (2 years)

-Reliable transportation to and from shop or lay down yard

-Experience with power tools

-Experience working around heavy equipment

-Prospect to grow within the company.

-Pay to be determined off experience and to be discussed

-Ability to run heavy equipment is an asset

-AZ/DZ license is a strong asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Stayner, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

- construction: 3 years (preferred)
- Construction & Extraction Occupations: 3 years (preferred)
