Rapid Transport is currently looking for Shunter Drivers for our yard operations in Laval. This is an active position with steady work and competitive pay.
Position: Shunter Truck Driver
Location: Laval, QC
Pay: $26.39/hour
Schedule: Weekend only (Saturday & Sunday)
Available Shifts:
- Afternoon Shift: 06 PM - 02:30 AM
⏱ Shift Details:
- 8.5-hour shift
- 30-minute paid break
Job Details:
- Yard check at the start of each shift
- 40–50 trailer moves per shift (active, fast-paced work)
- Trailer organization and positioning based on dispatch
- Coordination with yard and dispatch team
Requirements:
- Experience with shunter (Kalmar/Ottawa truck) – preferred
- Valid driver’s license (Class 1 or equivalent)
- Reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Available to work weekends
