Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers needing vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring a seamless service experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, automotive knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Previous service advisor experience is required, as well as the ability to upsell services effectively.

Duties

- Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing rapport and understanding their vehicle concerns
- Listen carefully to customer descriptions of issues and accurately document service requests
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended repairs and maintenance options based on mechanical knowledge
- Prepare repair orders, estimate costs, and communicate timelines clearly to customers
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize and schedule service appointments
- Upsell additional services or products that meet customer needs while maintaining integrity
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions, service history, and sales activities

Requirements





- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Sales experience with a focus on upselling services in an ethical manner
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Professional appearance and demeanor with robust organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Experience:

- Auto Service Advisor: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Canadian PR, NOT a work permit (required)
- Clean criminal background and driving abstract (required)
