Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Freightliner & Volvo Mechanic to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and industrial equipment with a focus on Freightliner and Volvo models. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical expertise, experience with various heavy machinery, and a commitment to quality service. Responsibilities

- Perform diagnostic assessments using schematics, electrical testing, and mechanical inspections to identify issues with Freightliner and Volvo trucks.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles, including engine repairs, brake systems, transmissions, and electrical components.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized machinery to complete repairs efficiently.
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial machinery as needed for maintenance or repair tasks.
- Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures, including heavy lifting and working around industrial equipment.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic codes to accurately troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used,



and service history for each vehicle.
- Assist in the assembly or disassembly of complex components during repairs or upgrades.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Experience

- Previous dealership experience or work in a similar automotive repair environment is highly preferred.
- Proven experience working with heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or farm machinery is advantageous.
- Strong background in mechanical repair with knowledge of HVAC systems, welding techniques, electrical systems, and power tools operation.
- Familiarity with schematics, diagnostics software, and industrial equipment operation is essential.
- Experience handling heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of automotive repair standards specific to Freightliner & Volvo trucks is a plus.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
