The Role:

We are looking for an apprentice machinist to join the team at our south Edmonton location. This position works Monday to Friday, daytime hours. Some overtime may be required as needed. Although experience is a definite asset, we are willing to train the right individual.

Responsibilities and Qualifications we are seeking:

-a positive attitude towards learning and a drive to improve every day

- CNC turning and/or milling experience (FANUC/HAAS/OKUMA)

- Ability to adjust offsets





- Ability to make program edits or write programs with G-Code without CAM software

- Fluent in machining math with the use of a calculator

- Set up and prove unproven programs

- Select tools by reading program instructions and using experience to determine what is necessary

- Ability to interpret engineered blueprints

- Proficiency with precision measuring tools

- Is versatile and understanding when asked to switch between tasks and reprioritize responsibilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
