Position Overview
We are currently seeking a full-time Optometric Assistant to become part of our growing team. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys interacting with people, works well in a dynamic environment, and is motivated to develop new skills. Previous experience in optometry is not necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided for the right individual.
Schedule
- Full-time role
- 8-hour shifts
- Five days per week
- Availability required Monday through Saturday (exact schedule to be determined)
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and provide friendly, professional assistance throughout their visit
- Conduct preliminary vision testing and support the optometrist during examinations (training provided)
- Book appointments and help coordinate daily patient scheduling
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Assist with administrative duties and ensure the clinic remains organized and efficient
- Collaborate with team members to provide a positive and seamless patient experience
