Gerni's Farmhouse is an Austrian/German Restaurant, named after the Resort's owner, Mr. Gernot Langes-Swarovski. It focuses on authentic Bavarian cuisine.

Staff accommodation is available in double rooms for full time Sparkling Hill employees, working 40 hours per week.

Duties for this position will include:

- Setup bar with necessary ingredients before service begins
- Pour wine and beer
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other beverages
- Provide consistent and high quality service at all times
- Adhere to and assist in the development of recipes when requested
- Maintain knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits on the menu in order to answer questions and provide excellent service




- Setup and takedown bar at banquets and functions with all necessary supplies
- Provide bar service at banquets and functions
- Stop serving guests alcohol after it is determined they have consumed too much
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Completed bartending course preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years in similar bartending position but willing to train the right candidate
- Current Serving It Right Certificate
- Knowledge of standard wines, beers, and drink recipes
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure workplace
- Excellent interpersonal skills and work ethic
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
- Reliable transportation essential
