SUMMARY

The robotics project manager is responsible for successfully leading medium- to large-scale projects. In this role, they evaluate, plan, execute, and monitor priorities throughout the entire project lifecycle. They must mobilize a multidisciplinary project team and ensure the contractual management of projects, as well as relationships with internal and external stakeholders. They are accountable for adherence to the project budget and schedule. They are also capable of managing project portfolios.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The following list summarizes the tasks associated with this position:

Manage projects in accordance with the processes and methods established by the PMO:

Define requirements in collaboration with the client;

Assemble a team in collaboration with the discipline leads;

Implement communication and project tracking tools;

For a portfolio of projects, plan projects and assign project managers to the various projects;

Organize and lead project meetings;

Responsible for the client relationship for assigned projects;

Provide after-sales service to the client and identify new project opportunities with clients;

Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards;

Follow up with other project managers responsible for the client portfolio;

Approve timesheets and expense reports for assigned projects weekly;

Generate and track invoices.

QUALIFICATIONS

The chosen candidate will have the following knowledge:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience;

At least 10 years of experience,



including at least 5 years in industrial automation and at least 5 years in project management;

Advanced written and spoken English and French.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

The position requires the following requirements:
Good knowledge of robotic systems in an industrial setting;

Robotic systems;

Conveyor lines and packaging equipment;

Food processing;

Knowledge of industrial automation;

Positive knowledge of robot programming (ABB, Fanuc, etc.);

Knowledge of diverse industries — an asset;

Ability to write technical documents;

- The future employee will need to demonstrate flexibility when it comes to traveling within Quebec, the rest of Canada, or internationally.
