Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and community-driven Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) to join our non-profit team. In this role, you will provide life-changing, play-based interventions for children aged 2 to 12 diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. You will work closely with families to help children develop crucial communication skills, social-emotional tools, and alternative expression methods within a supportive, neurodiversity-affirming framework.
Key Responsibilities
· Holistic Evaluations: Conduct play-based, naturalistic, and standardized behavioural and functional assessments tailored for children with autism.
· Neurodiversity-Affirming Care: Create individualized treatment and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) focused on the child's strengths, meaningful participation, and functional goals.
· Skill Acquisition & Multi-Modal Support: Design and implement programs to help children express themselves, build social skills,
and gain independence. Simultaneously target positive replacement behaviours using play-based, naturalistic approaches to improve overall quality of life across home, school, and community spaces.
· Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and center staff to ensure a unified approach to each child's development.
· Advocacy & Documentation: Maintain compassionate, strength-based clinical notes and progress reports that align with non-profit funding and grant requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
· Education: Master’s degree in Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited program.
· Licensing: Active Certificate of Registration Authorizing Autonomous Practice in good standing with the provincial regulatory body (the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario - CPBAO).
· Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years working with autistic children or pediatric populations is highly preferred.
· Core Skills: Deep understanding of applied behaviour analysis, ethical practices, client-centered care, and neurodiversity-affirming practices. Strong empathy, patience, and a playful,
energetic approach to therapy.
· Vulnerable Sector Check: provide current, satisfactory VSC
Terms
· Full-Time 40 hours per week, on-site Monday-Friday
· Working On-Site at 4063 10th Sideroad Beeton, Ontario
· Compensation: Salary range $75,000 - $85,000 a year*, permanent, full-time, three week’s vacation and a benefits plan
*Salary will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, experience and education.
