Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Head Chef to join our kitchen team. This position is perfect for individuals interested in starting or pursuing a career in the food industry. The Head Chef will perform food preparation and cooking, ensuring all meals meet high standards of quality and safety. You will work have the opportunity to learn cooking techniques and proper food handling practices.

Responsibilities:

- Preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines for proper handling and storage of ingredients.
- Support meal preparation for various items on the menu based on our business hours.
- Preparing and serving meals during busy periods.




- Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective kitchen operations.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in cooking in restaurant setting is required.
- Advanced knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques is essential.
- Familiarity with food safety standards is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks related to food service.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
