Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing property leasing processes, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a positive experience for potential tenants. This position requires strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for property management.
Duties
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
- Assist with the application process, including data entry and verification of applicant information.
- Maintain accurate records of leasing activities and tenant interactions using property management software such as Yardi.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective tenants.
- Collaborate with the property management team to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet leasing standards.
- Utilize effective phone etiquette to communicate with clients and vendors professionally.
- Support administrative tasks related to leasing operations, including filing, scheduling appointments, and preparing lease agreements.
Experience
- Proven experience in sales or customer service roles is essential.
- Familiarity with property management practices is preferred.
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in data entry and office software applications.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRM) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with clients and team members.
